In response to the COVID-19 crisis, while we were all staying home to do our part in keeping the community safe, The Eastern Ridge School developed a variety of materials, resources, and interfaces for keeping our enrolled children and families connected, inspired, engaged and exploring.
Daily live virtual class meetings Live virtual Atelier Time Nature and gardening time via live virtual sessions and recorded demos Live and recorded activities to follow at home Whole school live virtual gatherings for songs, celebrations and sense of community. While we are happily back in action with in-person summer camp programming, we understand that some families still prefer to keep their children at home at this time. Many of the distance learning resources that we developed during the spring school closure remain available for your ongoing use:
- ERS teacher led stories, Songs, Mindfulness, How-To’s, Yoga, cooking and more on ERS’s YouTube Channel
- Useful online resources for enrichment (listings for online story times, podcasts for kids, arts and nature-based activities, etc.)
